Up today, many years elapsed, since far February 2003, when we started to help Czech Wolfdogs looking for adoption or leaved in a doghouse.
In these years we saw very sad situations.
With some of those, we couldn’t get a solution and we never had some more information, with others we knew that the dog have been submitted to euthanasia, but with many of these difficult situations we succeeded in giving happiness to the dogs, founding news homes and loves.
Unfortunately, sometimes we look only to the failures, and it brings great despondency.
But then, you got up thinking that “they” need someone able to help them, and this is our purpose!

The adoption problem is the result for those people that didn’t get enough breed information before buying such a dog, for those who couldn’t understand to be not adapt, for those who though to bring an easy dog……..
In the past, often, the news about dogs of this breed were untidy, through the various portals or in the website for free of charge announcements.

This is the reason why, G.A.L.C. Association, decided to buy an ownership to construct a website.
This website is at everyone’s disposal, it is composed by people coming from various Associations, that are working as volunteers, and we hope that through this website we got info of all the cases, without any dispersions.
On such an occasion we have two Italian Czech Wolfdog Associations, that for the first time, they have been cooperating together: G.A.L.C. (Friends Group Czech Wolfdog) for the North Centre and WIG (Wolfdog Italian Group) for the South Centre Italy.
There are articles about dogs already adopted, suggestions for persons that would like to adopt a CW, photos of dogs already adopted and looking for a home, testimonials.
This, not to increase leaving, but to give a substantial support to whom really needs it.
Thanks to the help of many people, we divided the territory in order to be active to help all over Italy and also to have the opportunity to visit the dogs and touch “by hand” the situations.
The reference persons owned Czech Wolfdogs, and therefore they know the breed.
We will supply the breed standard and some photos to the doghouses, as this breed is quite known, so that we will get prompt information if a CW arrives in a doghouse.
We have also some funds which came from some offers received in the past, in order to be able to face some eventual problems.
All this has been wished to help "our unlucky dogs" without any fault.

Testimonials are very important to give a real and true vision of a dog that is adopted, with all the problems you may have, to be aware of what you have to face with.
We would like to tell honestly the difficulties, to avoid a second abandonment
